Jesus Is My Friend - I wrote this song June 15th 2022. It was a Wednesday evening, we had went to church early as usual so that I could get the songs together for our congregational singing. I was thinking about all the hymns that we love to sing at our church about God's love for us and I told the Lord that I sure would love to write a song about how much I love to sing about His love for us! of course when you think about God's love, you can't help but think about John 3:16 so I wrote down the 1st line of this song: "the bible says in John 3:16 that God so loved the world". Before church started that night, the Lord had gave me this song!
